News feed editor– Review numerous news sources (news feeds, website, individuals) to recommend key stories for the Monthly newsletter. Review videos from numerous sources to recommend significant ones for the website. Requires computer and access to internet. (1)
Proofreader – Review publications prior to publishing. Requires English proficiency, spelling and grammar skills. Internet and email proficiency required. (1)
Writers – Develop stories of local interest for publishing on the monthly newsletter. Personal interviews via phone may be assigned as news shifts focus. Requires computer with word processing software. Internet and email proficiency required. (3)
Event tracker – Follow all tri-county club activities that need to be promoted publicly. Requires calling various republican clubs in the area and recording their public activity, dates and times for inclusion on the club calendar and published in the newsletter. Requires phone skills and internet and computer skills.
Reporter to do publicity s for local media and similar write-up for VFT newsletter and website on VFT rallies and special events. Pass releases to Publicists (2)
Publicists – Follow up with Ocala PR contacts to send publicity releases. Research local Orlando, Leesburg and Bushnell publicity for print, TV, and radio and follow up to send publicity releases. (3)
